The idea of this iBook is to provide a photographic essay that serves to convey an artistic and informative portrayal of several locations within Eastern Tasmania. ‘Traveling with Purpose’ presents the fundamental tenets of travel photography in a straightforward manner, illustrated with images of Eastern Tasmania and encompasses lighting and shooting condition challenges that are inherent in travel photography. Each chapter covers travel tips as well as photographic techniques designed to enhance the overall travel experience.
The objective of this iBook is to present a framework to facilitate unlimited creative possibilities for exploring the intricate details of flowers, from a macro photography point of view. It provides techniques for working with the various Lensbaby optics and macro converters as well as traditional macro and zoom lenses. The important factors in close-up flower photography and creating the magic of blur, such as depth of field, subject to camera distance and camera positioning, are discussed in detail, with practice exercises provided at the end of each chapter. Additionally, Adobe Photoshop post-processing procedures are also explained for their application to this area of photography.
